About
Olivia Shaw is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Arizona State University.
Research interests
My research interests broadly encompass corrections and re-entry, with a specific focus on rehabilitation efforts, the role of punishment, and the disparities shaped by gender and race. By examining these areas, I aim to better understand how systemic inequalities within the correctional system affect both rehabilitation outcomes and re-entry processes, ultimately contributing to more equitable and effective criminal justice policies
